Touch and go, wasn’t it? How many of us thought that live theatre was done for? That the cursèd Covid had killed it off completely? Well, it seems not. Not even close.
We threw together a show for last festival season and, what do you know?, plenty of people came to see it. They wore masks, they distanced, they clapped and they laughed and we loved each and every single one.
Laudable Pus (from Galen to Gallstones) was a last minute decision. A race against deadlines and a defiant shout against positive lateral flow tests and heart-breaking loss. So many shows last summer got pulled or brutally wounded. Somehow, we got through intact.
We’re just grateful. But we had so much fun!
